It seems like they love to trade on the cities fame without ever wanting to input into its future in a positive way. But my main gripe is the 'so called' indigenous New Yorkers. Cost prohibitive theatre tickets even at cut price. Real bad points!!! Outrageous prices for simplest of things. (defo take the Staten Island ferry as it is free) You know the rest of the story for main attractions. Sure it has the Empire state building at +$45 a trip just to see the place from an elevated point of view and the ferry trips. Once the wow factor of the enormity of the structures wears off and you are bored with the 'novelty' value of the place, there is little to attract a visitor.
